ALDO V. VITAGLIANO, Esq.

Principal

 

Attorney Aldo V. Vitagliano has represented start-up businesses, real estate, construction and corporate clients from Westchester County in New York to Connecticut and Florida with his private law practice, Aldo V. Vitagliano, P.C., based in Rye, New York.  Since founding his practice, Aldo has represented individuals for their real estate, estate planning and administration, and general legal needs.  During this time he has also represented municipal clients, serving as Rye Town Attorney, Port Chester Corporation Counsel, Special Counsel to Rye Town and Port Chester, Legislative Counsel Westchester County.  He currently serves as Special Counsel for tax certiorari defense for the Town of Eastchester and the Village of Tuckahoe.  He also has served, by appointment pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law Article 81, as Court Evaluator and Temporary and Permanent Guardian, as Guardian ad Litem in Surrogates Court, and as Receiver and Referee in Supreme Court.

In addition to his private practice, Aldo served as secretary and general counsel to a technology firm that prosecuted cases to successful outcomes involving patent infringement against major telecom giants.

 

His past public service to community organizations includes:

  • Member, Port Chester Citizens Voting Advisory Committee

  • Counsel, Port Chester Voting Rights Commission

  • Chairman, United Hospital Grounds Rezoning Strategic Planning Committee

  • Member, Playland Advisory Board

 

His present service includes:

  • Counsel, Port Chester-Rye Brook- Rye Town Independence Day Observance Committee

  • Member Board of Directors, Pregnancy Care Center, Inc. d/b/a Elinor Martin Residence

 

He is a resident of Port Chester where he and his wife have raised their three sons.

Brendan G. Maloney handles commercial and residential real estate matters for Aldo V. Vitagliano, P.C. including construction contracts, loan modifications and foreclosure defense. He also handles the firm's residential and commercial leasing.  A graduate of Siena College and Pace University School of Law where he graduated with honors, Brendan draws on his experiences gained at several prior firms.  He is a member of the Westchester and NY State Bar Association. He lives with his wife and two children in Ossining, New York.

JOSHUA E. COLÓN, Esq.

Joshua E. Colón handles transactional, probate and administration proceedings, estate planning and liquor license applications for the practice, and is pursuing an LLM from Villanova in tax. He has his J.D. from Fordham Law School and was admitted to the Bar in New York, First Department in 2018.  He has a BS in Criminal Justice from the University of Scranton with a Minor in English.  He resides in New York City with his two cats.

PERRY M. OCHACHER, Esq.

Of Counsel

 

Perry M. Ochacher has significant experience working in both the public and private sectors as an attorney and lobbyist. In addition to serving as Of Counsel to Aldo V. Vitagliano, P.C., he is the Founder and President of Willett Public Affairs, a lobbying firm. Prior to Willett, he served as partner, managing partner and senior vice president/counsel to several respected Albany lobbying firms, providing strategic legal and legislative counsel and services to clients in the healthcare, transportation, insurance, real estate, retail, financial services, racing and gaming, construction, and telecommunications industries.

 

After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, Ochacher practiced corporate and securities law with a major New York City law firm. He then served in senior positions on several political campaigns on the federal, state and local levels and worked as legal counsel to a popular and long-serving member of the New York State Assembly. In addition to his legislative and political experience, Ochacher also practiced real estate, land use and development law with a leading Westchester County law firm.

 

From 2002 to 2007, Ochacher served as Clerk/Chief of Staff to the Westchester County Board of Legislators, which is the highest-ranking appointed position in the Westchester County legislature. Prior to this position, Ochacher served as the Director of State Government Affairs for Cablevision Systems Corp., where he helped develop policy positions and government relations strategies to enhance the regulatory environment for this leading telecommunications, media and sports company.

 

Ochacher has lectured frequently on various topics related to lobbying and public policy and has authored and co-authored several articles on the legal and business aspects of lobbying, as well as an array of other legal subjects. His articles have appeared in publications such as the Westchester County Bar Journal and New York Law Journal.

 

Ochacher is regularly successful in navigating the complex but interrelated worlds of law, government and politics in New York, by lobbying and passing important legislation and resolving other complex public policy and legal matters for his clients.

Ochacher is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is admitted to the New York State Bar, and the U.S. District Courts of Southern and Eastern New York.
